Reports of figures that do not match their source are the most useful thing a reader can send us.
Report an error
Email [email protected] with:
- the report address and the figure you think is wrong;
- what you expected and where it comes from, such as a FEMA map panel, an EPA site profile or an NFIP record;
- whether the problem appears on other ZIP reports in the same county.
Each report lists its sources and the date its data were compiled, and the methodology explains every calculation. We check each report against the source and correct confirmed errors in the next rebuild.
What we cannot help with
We cannot determine the flood zone of a single property, quote insurance, assess a parcel for contamination or give legal or financial advice. For a property's flood zone, ask your lender for a flood zone determination or look up the address on FEMA's Flood Map Service Center.
